Police swoop on Lyme Regis flat in drugs raid
POLICE arrested two people following a drugs raid on a Lyme Regis flat.
Officers swooped on the property on Pound Street at approximately 6pm yesterday evening, Tuesday July 15, and seized a quantity of cannabis and cocaine.
A man, 21, and a woman, 51, both from Lyme Regis were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A Dorset Police spokesperson told The News: “On July 15 at approximately 6pm, Dorset Police executed a warrant under the misuse of drugs act.
“A quantity of cannabis and cocaine was found at an address on Pound Street in Lyme Regis.”
