COASTGUARD ROUND-UP: Dog rescued after falling off cliff
COASTGUARD rescue teams from West Bay and Lyme Regis rescued a springer spaniel which had fallen over the cliff.
The dog, called Trigger, was unhurt after the fall at Charmouth on the afternoon of Sunday, June 29.
A search was also undertaken following a report of a Canadian style canoe which had been found drifting on the River Brit near the Parkdean caravan site.
An investigation was carried out at around 10.45pm on Saturday, June 29, but there were no signs of recent use and nothing untoward was found.
