Fire in Bridport sub-station
A short in an electrical system sparked a fire in an electricity sub-station.
Crews from Bridport and Charmouth attended the Bridport sub-station at 5.44pm yesterday. (22) They found electrical apparatus had been involved in fire but was out on arrival.
Crews set up a cordon and handed over to the power company on their arrival. The cause is believed to be a short in the electrical system.
