VOICE teacher Helen Yeomans, pictured, is giving a singing workshop at St Mary’s Church Hall in South Street, Bridport.
All are welcome, whether you haven’t sung for years and fancy giving it a go, or are a choir singer looking to try something a little different.
Helen is one of the UK’s best loved voice teachers, and her choir Glorious Chorus has sung at major national festivals including Glastonbury and Isle of Wight festivals. Helen is in demand internationally for commissioned work and workshops. Her songs, often touching on world and personal issues, stir heart and soul, moving audiences first to silence then standing ovations.
“When I finally have some time to myself, I find songs come pouring in from nowhere,” says Helen. “It’s as if all life’s experien-ces and stories were meant to have expression in song, and I feel honoured to have the opportunity to bring them alive.”
The workshop takes place on Sunday June 29.
