A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after collapsing in Bridport.

Paramedics called to the scene at Meadow Court, Folly Mill Lane at 12.40pm today, Friday, June 6.

A spokesman for the South West Ambulance Service said the man is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.

He added: "The man was taken to Dorset County Hospital by the air ambulance for treatment."
