One local business is getting into the filming spirit by publishing a spoof script in their shop window.

Richard Attrill put a sign the window of his shop, Harbour News, which is a spoof script of the first scene of the second series.

The script reads that in the first shot, as the camera moves up, Jack Marshall gets out of the shower and says: it's just been a really bad dream.

The spoof script went up on Sunday morning, and Emily Deer, who works at the store, said: "It only went up on Sunday, but we have had quite a few people mention it already.

"A lot of people think it's the real one, but it's actually the scene from Dallas, so they've been a bit disappointed but they have found it funny."

it takes a right sad numpty to post negative comments on such a positive story.

Yes, we have long realised not everyone likes the show nor actors, but to say this is not news is a little sad.

It's an award winning national TV Programme with some of our best actors, all on our doorstep. most of us like and embrace this :)

I suppose it could also be said its sad to post about sad posts?........You are right it is an award winning programme blah blah blah, but to have a rolling blog, and an update of twitter activity is a little over the top. That's an opinion as well as a sad negative post by the way. They put these little boxes here so we can either agree/disagree love/hate the stuff they choose to print. If we want to disagree and say we hate it, we can. So I think your post is actually a far lot sadder than ours. There that has replied to your post without having to use any insults............y

It's day-after-day-after-
day though. It's even got it's own sub-section under "News" for goodness sake. I like the programme. Some fine acting and great drama. However, the reporting needs to be calmed down a bit. It's relentless.

I imagine OHEC are using Broadchurch as a tool to get traffic to their site and then increase the ad rates.

I can't fathom why this article appears above "Vital care funds cut for disabled Weymouth youngster" in the News section of a news website.

I'm no 'numpty' but this is hardly 'News'.

It's a story about other people going to work! They are actors, camera crews and producers but it's only a job!

Hardly justifies the excessive amount of coverage it gets from this media outlet.

The way it's going nobody will need to watch the thing as it's all going to be on here over the next few weeks.

The writer and crew have asked the people of West Bay to keep the secrets of the series to themselves. It would be nice if the Echo could show a bit of restraint and do the same.
