ROADWORKS in Lyme Regis will impact two major bus routes through the town this month, according to bus operator First Dorset.
A scheduled road closure in Church Street, one of the main routes into the town, will run from May 19 to May 23 in order for Dorset County Council to carry out works to the road.
First Dorset have said both the X31 and X53 buses will be diverted at Charmouth roundabout and travel via the A35 to and from Hunter's Lodge, both in and out of Lyme Regis.
All services will stop outside Langham Gardens where a temporary bus stop will be in position.
The two buses will not be able to serve any stops between the Charmouth roundabout and Lyme Regis or Langham Gardens for the duration of works.
First Dorset added that the routes will be affected for five working days from May 19.
