BRIDPORT duo Elijah and Ava Wolf have been having fun and they’ll be sharing some of that with their fans this spring.

The couple, who perform under the name The Gravity Drive, will be releasing their new single called Fun on May 12.

They are hoping the fact it is already being heard by Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music audiences will increase its chances of success.

Radio 2’s Janice Long said the single was ‘absolutely wonderful’ and DJ Bob Harris said it was a ‘beautiful track, absolutely lovely’ and BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson said the song ‘jumped out the speakers’.

Elijah said: “We’ve been blessed to work with a wonderful team of people on our record, especially our producer Pete Schwier. We are over the moon that the records are being broadcast on the national airwaves and it’s a testament to their hard work.”

The Gravity Drive, who recently supported award-winning Scottish musician Finley Quaye, plan to release their debut album Testament in the autumn and they will be launching it at a gig in Bridport to celebrate.

The single Fun will be released on Monday, May 12, on iTunes and will be available from their website thegravity drive.com The album is being mixed by Peter Schwier (Dexys, Electronic, Pet Shop Boys) and produced by Paul Knight-Malciak and The Gravity Drive.
