A NATIONAL exhibition entitled A Graceful Death comes to Bridport’s Unitarian Chapel in the Garden, for a weekend of art, music, talks and workshops looking at the end of life.
The exhibition opens at 10am on Friday, November 1 with an evening talk introducing the work of the curator and artist Antonia Rolls and a piano concert by Elizabeth Hornby.
Saturday and Sunday has workshops from Felicity Warner, founder of the Soul Midwives School and soul midwife Mandy Preece, sound therapist Sarah Weller and storyteller Jade Buck.
A Graceful Death is a collection of portraits, interviews, films of people facing the end of their lives.
Each portrait says something of the person and what it is they want to communicate as they approach their last day.
Antonia asks her sitters two main questions. Who are you? And, what do you want to say?
The 11am Unitarian multi-faith service on Sunday, November 3 is also part of the weekend including a look at the end of life from various religious and non-religious perspectives.
Entry is by donation and workshops are £5.
