Line-up confirmed for Lyme Regis Jazz, Blues and Real Ale Festival

THE line-up for this year’s Lyme Regis Jazz, Blues and Real Ale Festival has been confirmed and tickets are now available.

Top names are lined up to appear at the Marine Theatre over the weekend of Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2.

The opening ceremony will be at 4pm on the Friday at Cobb Gate, followed in the evening by a performance from Gerry Brown and the Mission Hall Band.

The annual Umbrella Parade will take place as usual on the Saturday morning at 11am, from the Regent Cinema, down Broad Street, and along the seafront to Jane’s Cafe.

The public are invited to join in with decorated umbrellas and there will be cash prizes for the best entries.

On Saturday afternoon and evening there will be performances in the Marine Parade Shelters and the theatre, headlined in the night by Geno Washington and the Yo-Yos.

An afternoon performance on Sunday will be followed by an evening performance by the day’s headliners Ginger Baker’s Jazz Confusion.

Locally brewed real ales will be available in the theatre on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
