Grab an Easter treat at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens

FLUFFY bunnies and giant chocolate eggs are some of the prizes on offer at a giant Easter egg hunt at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.

Families are being invited to join the annual choc fest and rummage in the Jurassic undergrowth, which is being sponsored by the Dorset Echo.

The giant Easter egg hunt takes place over the course of four days from Good Friday, March 29 to Easter Monday, April 1.

Visitors who are lucky enough to find the Golden Horseshoe can win one giant chocolate egg every day.

Other smaller tokens will be hidden near the pathways so there is no need to clamber through the flowerbeds. These tokens can be exchanged for one of 8,000 Cadbury’s Crème Eggs.

Other free activities on offer include a children’s entertainer, bouncy castle and face painting. The gardens open from 10am to 6pm.
