Uplyme Pre-school children cook up a storm

CHILDREN from Uplyme Pre-school have been getting involved in the kitchen for two annual celebrations.

They marked Shrove Tuesday when they helped beat the mixture and watched the pancakes being cooked.

The children all took a turn to toss the pancakes – some were more successful than others – before sitting down to enjoy their efforts.

They cooked up a storm to celebrate Chinese New Year when Sue, one of the mums, went into pre-school to talk about the occasion and made beansprouts and Chinese dumplings with the children.
