Snowdrop Sundays at Mapperton Gardens

MAPPERTON Gardens at Beaminster will open to visitors on two Snowdrop Sundays.
The grounds, which featured in Country Life two weeks ago, will be open on Sunday, January 27 and Sunday, February 3 from 11am to 5pm.
There will be teas, coffees and cakes in the Sawmill Café and a selection of plants and gifts.
A variety of early spring flowers and flowering trees and shrubs can be seen, including a display of snowdrops in the spring garden, hellebores and possibly crocuses.
Entrance fee will be half price, at £3 for adults and free for children. The proceeds will go towards garden maintenance and the National Gardens Scheme.
