Helicopter airlifts angler from West Bay

THE Portland coastguard helicopter was scrambled when a man went overboard off West Bay.

The 31-year-old was airlifted to Dorset County Hospital for treatment for possible hypothermia after he fell overboard from an angling vessel.

The incident happened shortly after 11am on Wednesday.
