Make a will and help charities
4:00pm Wednesday 31st October 2012 in News
LAWYERS in West Dorset are taking part in the 2012 Will Aid scheme, enabling people to make an affordable will and give to charity at the same time.
The local Will Aid solicitor will draw up a basic will and, instead of charging a fee, will ask the client to make a donation to Will Aid during November.
The suggested donation is £90 for a single will, £135 for a pair of mirror wills or £40 for a change to an existing one. All the money donated is shared by ActionAid, Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children, SCIAF and Trocaire.
Taking part are Christine Harley of AWG Solicitors in Bridport (01308 422236) and Tracy Scammell of Kitson and Trotman in Bridport (01308 427436), Beaminster (01308 862313) and Lyme Regis (01297 442580).
