CELEBRATE 40 years of disco with the ultimate Bee Gees concert show.

Night Fever hits the stage of Weymouth Pavilion on Saturday, August 25 at 7.30pm.

A night of “lip-smackin’, platform-boot-poundin’, white-suit-wearin’, wing-collars-waftin’, heaven-finger-pointin’ Bee Gees disco hits is promised.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film that introduced the world to disco – Saturday Night Fever – the concert show invites theatregoers to take a trip back to a time when nightclubs were called discos and dancefloors went crazy to Stayin’ Alive, You Should Be Dancing, Jive Talkin’, How Deep is Your Love, More Than a Woman and Night Fever.

Show promoter Pete Tobit promises the production digs deeper into the history of multi-million record selling band The Bee Gees.

“The UK’s number one Bee Gees concert show features the platinum hits from before and after brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice’s disco heyday,” he says.

“Songs like Massachusetts, Words, Nights on Broadway, Tragedy and You Win Again saw the Bee Gees become one of the best-selling recording artists of all time.”

These and the Gibb brothers-written chart-toppers recorded by other artistes will feature, including Islands in the Stream, Emotion, If I Can’t Have You and Grease.

Pete said: “With harmonies tighter than The Bee Gees’ trousers and musicianship more dynamic than John Travolta in full flight, there’s something special going down at the the theatre this summer."
