DORSET Postcard Club is holding its Annual Fair at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester on Sunday, July 8 between 10am and 4pm.
There will be more than 25 postcard dealers and people can bring their vintage postcards along and have them values.
Club member Andy Hutchings said: "We have mobile phones and text messages but a hundred years ago people kept in touch by sending postcards almost daily. Reading the messages on the back one sees nothing changes and they give a unique insight to life then.
"Everyone is invited to come and browse for a while and if they bring their postcards along they could be pleasantly surprised if they have them valued."
