A NEW series of In Conversation events welcomes Chilean illustrator Claudio Muñoz to the United Church in Bridport on Thursday, July 19 at 6.45pm.
Claudio is best known for his work at The Economist, but his illustrations have appeared in all major newspapers, magazines and in children’s books - some of which have been short-listed for awards, winning the French Prix du Livre de la Mer for his own Le Petit Capitaine (The Little Captain) in 1997.
He grew up in Chile but left following the 1973 military coup and settled in England.
Claudio will talk about his work, early life in Chile and his time in west Dorset before focusing on ten political stories in ten illustrations for the Economist. There will also be time for questions.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from Bridport TIC or online at bridportandwestbay.co.uk/product/talk-in-conversation-with-claudio-munoz/ Call 01308 424901 for more information.
