JUNE’S edition of the Lyme Regis Comedy Club, taking place on Saturday, is headlined by Ricky Gervais’s support act, Sean McLoughlin alongside Phil Cooper, Paul Ricketts, and host Tom Glover.

You might have seen him on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, Comedy Central’s Live, or Brexit Stage Left.

Sean has performed at Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Cat Laughs Festival in Kilkenny, The Vodafone Comedy Festival in Dublin, The Rotterdam International Comedy Festival and several shows in Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Switzerland and Belgium.

He has supported Ricky Gervais, Katherine Ryan and Doc Brown on tour, and made appearances on Russell Howard’s Stand-Up Central and Comedy Central’s Live At The Comedy Store.

Also on the bill is the Welsh alternative comedian Phil Cooper. He has warmed up for Matt Price and Matt Rees, and won awards – he was semi finalist for So You Think You’re Funny

Phil was semi finalist for Laughing Horse and winner of the Swansea Stand up Award.

Paul Ricketts is opening. He is an award-winning comic who since 2006 has been entertaining audiences across the UK and beyond. Since starting as an MC in his own London Comedy Club, Paul has developed into a much sought after performer on the comedy circuit. Sometimes silly, serious or surreal, sometimes auto-biographicial, political or near the knuckle – but always funny.
