A NEW adaptation of Emily Brontë’s powerful and emotional novel Wuthering Heights is coming to the stage

Hotbuckle theatre have turned their unique magic to this timeless Gothic classic and will perform it on Saturday June 9 and Sunday June 10 at Dorchester Corn Exchange

Widely considered to be one of the greatest works of fiction every written, Wuthering Heights is a wild, passionate story set on the windswept Yorkshire moors.

When Cathy’s father brings home an orphaned Heathcliff, the effect will echo for generations.

Wuthering Heights is a story of the intense and almost demonic love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, a foundling adopted by Catherine's father. After Mr Earnshaw's death, Heathcliff is bullied and humiliated by Catherine's brother Hindley and wrongly believing that his love for Catherine is not reciprocated, leaves Wuthering Heights, only to return years later to exact a terrible revenge for his former miseries.
