Enjoy strolling through some beautiful gardens in the village of Rampisham on Sunday, June 10.

Some seven Rampisham Gardens will be open for the National Gardens Scheme between 11am and 5pm.

The gardens range from a small cottage garden to large gardens with ponds and streams, from wild flower meadows and a large walled vegetable garden to extensive borders with roses and perennials.

The 15th century church, with alterations carried out by Pugin in the 1840s, will also be open, and a woodturning workshop in The Old Rectory Cottage will be open for visitors.

Also open will be Capreolus, the award winning charcuterie which is based in Rampisham.

There will be plenty of designated parking, wheelchair access to most gardens, and dogs on leads are welcome.

Teas with home made cakes will be served in the village hall.

Tickets covering all the gardens are £6 for adults and free for children and will be available at the first garden you visit.

All gate proceeds will go to the NGS charities, which include Macmillan, Marie Curie, hospice care and the Carers' Trust.
