THERE are just a few days remaining to see a selection of recent photography by Brendan Buesnel at Bridport Arts Centre cafe.

Brendan's work has been selected from commissioned and personal projects and the show promises to be a compelling and exciting collection.

Recent portraits, architectural observations and photographic meditations on land and sea will showcase his brave and investigative eye. Previous exhibitions have shown that under the scrutiny of his lens a familiar view takes on poetry and vision.

Brendan has a profound passion for photography, gaining his Associateship with the Royal Photographic Society in 2010 and qualifying with distinctions in professional and applied photography. Since then he’s been broadening his scope of interest with a diverse range of projects and clients.

The printed image has always been integral to Brendan’s work due to his love of the darkroom, in which he has spent many hours. To produce this exhibition he has worked closely with Bridport fine art and photography printers, ProCanvas, whose attention to detail and knowledge of the latest digital printing techniques have made this possible.

Brendan was born in Sussex in 1978 and lived there until his early twenties, which saw him ‘heading out west’ and finally settling in Symondsbury with his wife Mary and two children, Nara and Ethan, all of whom are a constant source of inspiration!

*Brendan Buesnel exhibition, Bridport Arts Centre cafe, until Saturday December 2. The exhibition is free and open daily from 10am to 4pm.
