LOS Pacaminos are coming to perform at Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis on October 13 for what should be a very special night.

At least one member of this highly respected seven-piece Americana group will be very familiar. The London-based outfit is led by one of the UK’s finest and best loved vocalists- Paul Young.

And he’s not the only reason to part with your hard-earned cash and leave the house - some of the best musicians in the business have teamed up to present this mix of Tex-Mex classics that will have you dancing the night away!

As Paul himself says, the emphasis is good music and good times. “We sing, we dance, we love…. We drink tequila. Only the good stuff these days!”

The band’s sound came about because of Paul’s love of the music but also the sheer joy of playing it.

He says: “I first heard Ry Cooder’s hybrid version of Tex-Mex, and I started to escape into a world of life down by the border, hot weather, good food… we started back in ’92 and it was too much fun to stop. I love the lift you get when playing it. We’re all past wanting to play or listen to music that depresses.”

Los Pacaminos have played with the best in the business- Queen, Tom Jones, Robbie Williams, First Aid Kit and many more.
