Youngsters from the Christchurch and Bournemouth choir will perform songs from the Disney film Beauty and the Beast in anticipation of the visit of Sing-a-long-a Beauty and the Beast to Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on October 24.

*MOISHE'S Bagel combines the energy and passion of Eastern European folk music with the excitement and soul of improvisation.

*FANS of country music will be flocking to Weymouth Pavilion tomorrow evening when 'Kenny' and 'Dolly' take to the stage.

Thigh-slapping stage show Islands in the Stream brings together the beloved glamour and personality of Dolly Parton, along with Kenny Rogers' charisma and energy with hit after hit including: Jolene, Ruby, 9 to 5, Lucille, Here You Come Again, The Gambler, I Will Always Love You, Coward of the Country, plus the smash hit Islands in the Stream.

*PROMS favourites will be performed at All Saints Church, Wyke Regis, Weymouth, tomorrow (7) evening from 7.30pm.

This great family night out will feature proms favourites, such as Fantasia on British Sea Songs, Pomp and Circumstance and Jerusalem.

*HEAD to the 'Fun Palace' at Weymouth Library tomorrow and take part in have-a-go art and science activities. It all takes place between 10am and 3pm.

*THE big theatrical event in Dorchester this weekend is the staging of Monmouth: The West Country Rebellion.

Brought to the county town by the BurntOut Theatre company, the play tells the story of the Duke of Monmouth who landed at Lyme Regis with 83 men to raise a Protestant army against James II, and begin what was to be England’s last rebellion against the Crown.

The performance is at 7.30pm on Sunday. Call Dorchester Arts box office for tickets.
