A CAPTIVATING opera comes to Dorchester Corn Exchange on Friday (8).

Opera Holloway visits Dorchester with a joyful production of Così Fan Tutte. Set during World War Two, sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella appear as Landgirls forced to watch their boyfriends go off to war earlier than expected.

Through trickery and plenty of comical disguises, their sweethearts seek to find out how faithful the two girls really are.

With sublime music by Mozart, see an astonishingly talented cast performing with string quartet and piano accompaniment.

Directed by Fiona Williams and conducted by Lewis Gaston, the production stars soprano Callie Gaston as Fiordiligi, mezzo-soprano Sophie Dicks as Dorabella, baritone Jevan McAuley as Guglielmo, tenor Tom Morss as Ferrando, soprano Lorena Paz Nieto as Despina, and baritone Przemyslaw Baranek as Don Alfonso, accompanied by Laurie O’Brien on piano.
