A DASTARDLY cast member of Pirates of the Pavilion is challenging theatre-goers to escape Demonia's lair.

Weymouth Pavilion's summer pantomime The Pirates of the Pavilion has teamed up with Escape the Dungeons to create a new puzzle to escape the lair of Demonia, the evil Sea Witch we love to hate.

The Escape Dungeons, located under the Esplanade at the The Richmoor Hotel, have three small rooms that you get locked in for one-hour. As a team you have to gather clues and hidden messages with the aim of unlocking multiple locks in order to escape.

The Escape Dungeons already have two other puzzles on offer but in support of the Pirates of the Pavilion summer pantomime, the Dungeons have prepared a special pirates puzzle for curious Sea Dogs to escape the grasp of Evil Sea Witch Demonia.

Weymouth’s favourite Dame Lee Redwood stars as in Pirates as the hilariously evil Demonia the Sea Witch, whose only goal is to sabotage the efforts of the poor pirates on cleaning the seabed of rubbish.

The Pavilion's marketing manager Chris Cole said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with the Escape Dungeons this year. Their creative team have put together an incredible experience for people to enjoy that ties into the show so well! It’s so important in a place like Weymouth for businesses to work together to give visitors the best possible experience of the town.”

*Pirates of the Pavilion, Weymouth Pavilion, every Monday and Tuesday in August. Tickets for the swashbuckling Pirates addition of the Escape Dungeons can be booked through their website or over the phone. A special prize awaits any pirates that can escape Demonia’s clutches!
