ARTISTS showed off their skills at a Plein Air Painting event.
The session at Sculpture by the Lakes, near Dorchester, saw 20 Dorset-based artists given free access to the sculpture park to show off their skill in a variety of media.
The rain held off so they managed to capture the summer light over the lakes, the glorious gardens and the sculptures.
Visitors to the park had the opportunity to watch the artists paint and ask questions and could buy their artwork at the end of the day.
