GREASE is the word for The Osmonds singer Jimmy.

Global star Jimmy, who was also in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, will be taking to the stage on the south coast in a performance of rock and roll classic musical Grease.

He will be playing Teen Angel, having previously played the role in the West End.

Also starring in the musical is Tom Parker from The Wanted, who will be making his musical theatre debut playing Danny Zuko, Danielle Hope, from Over the Rainbow, who will play Sandy and Louisa Lytton of Strictly Come Dancing and EastEnders, who will play Rizzo.

The show will include all the famous kits including You’re The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Sandy, Greased Lightnin’ and many more.

Jimmy Osmond began his 50-year show business career at the age of three. He was the first in his family to receive a gold record at five years old. Collectively, Jimmy as a solo artist and with his family, share 59 gold and platinum records and other prestigious entertainment awards.

In 1972, Jimmy occupied the prestigious Christmas Number One spot with Long Haired Lover From Liverpool. It was the biggest selling single of the year and went on to spend a staggering 27 weeks in the charts. This hit also put Jimmy in the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest person ever to top the UK charts – a record he still holds to this day.

The show will run at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton from June 27 to July 8.
