ON your marks, get set, go for a another adrenaline fuelled theatrical lap from Living Spit.

The production company presents Tortoise vs Hare! on tour of rural Dorset from May 16 to 19, courtesy of Artsreach.

It calls in at Broadoak, near Bridport, on May 17.

The race is set, the heat is on… for this epic tale of romance, redemption and rural running rivalry told entirely in rhyme and song.

The talented Bristol based duo Living Spit have proved a huge hit on the rural touring circuit since they first burst on to the scene with The Six Wives of Henry VIII in 2013.

Countless sell out tours across the county have followed, with shows including Elizabeth 1: Virgin on the Ridiculous, One Man & His Cow and their popular 2016 summer tour of The Fabulous Bacon Boys.

Now this summer Living Spit are back with another brand new show, and its the popular fable of the Tortoise vs the Hare which is receiving a touch of Living Spit magic!

Barry Hare, Wrington running champ. fit, popular and, above all, fast. Toby ‘Tortoise’ Gollop, eater of doughnuts. Look up ‘relaxed’ in the dictionary and you’ll see his picture. Two very different men. One running club, and the race to end all races.

Touring from the 16-19 May, the show can be seen at Winfrith, Broadoak, Halstock and Cranborne and, as always, early booking is advised! Tickets are also available to purchase online from www.artsreach.co.uk
