A NEW series of Dorset Blues Concerts kicks off at the Tivoli in Wimborne, with Hannah Robinson and Scott McKeon following their highly acclaimed support for blues legend Chris Farlowe earlier this year.

at the Tivoli in Wimborne last month, Hannah Robinson and Scott McKeon will have the opportunity to headline the first of a series of Dorset Blues Concerts.

Soulful singer/songwriter Hannah Robinson has played at a diverse range of venues and events in London and also her native Dorset and has supported high-profile artists such as Sandi Thom, Megson, Pete Best and the late-great Jackie Leven.

Scott McKeon has given a lifetime of dedication to his craft as a guitarist, singer and songwriter.

Initially inspired by his dad’s love of blues and ‘50s rock ‘n roll music, he took up the guitar at the age of four. In 1998, Scott was the winner of Guitarist Magazine’s “Young Guitarist of the Year” and by the age of 14, he was already fronting his own band.

Over the last two years, Scott has been touring as part of Tom Jones’ band, and has completed two worldwide tours.

Hannah and Scott will be joined by drummer Russ Parker (Robbie McIntosh, Rufus Black) and bassist Leighton Allen (Kelvin Jones, The Hoosiers).

The evening will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 7.30pm. Support will be provided by Amy Mayes and the Red River Hogs. Tickets £15. To book call the Tivoli on 01202 885566 or visit tivoliwimborne.co.uk
