ALBUM REVIEW
JOSHUA RADIN
THE FALL
IF you like your music mellow and your lyrics heartfelt, you're in safe hands with Joshua Radin.
The Fall, his seventh studio album, sees him confidently turning it up a notch and dipping a toe into those folk waters so confidently swum by The Lumineers with the likes of singalong belters like High and Low.
But give the man a piano and a soaring chorus like title track Falling and you realise he sits much more comfortably with a stripped down number in solid ballad territory.
There's little that's saccharine among these 10 songs, a collection you'd be hard pressed to beat if you're after genuine Valentine's sentiment.
