TWENTY years since their last rural tour with the memorable Don't Laugh It's My Life in 1996, the theatre company Told by an Idiot are hitting the country roads once more and visiting rural venues across Dorset this weekend, as part of a bigger national tour of their acclaimed new show Heads will Roll.

This dark epic comedy about delusion, vanity, and the corruption of power is inspired by the myth of El Dorado - the fantastical city where rivers ran with gold - and explores the quests we carry throughout our lives, even if our goals are out of reach.

Artistic Director Paul Hunter said: "It's very exciting for us to be coming back to Dorset because we haven't done a show there for years. We have a very international cast - three Spanish women and one Colombian woman."

Artsreach audiences may remember performers Mercè Ribot and Patricia Rodriguez as Little Solider, who toured to great acclaim with Don Quixote. Performer and composer Alicia Martel, one of Barcelona’s most unique musicians, and Colombian-born performer and choreographer Andrea Pelaez complete this exciting international cast.

There are just two opportunities to see the show through Artsreach this weekend, so book early to avoid disappointment! Heads will Roll is at West Stafford Village Hall on Saturday (01305 265282) and Toller Porcorum Hall on Sunday (01300 320373). Both performances are at 7.30pm.
