ADULTS living with disabilities from the Weymouth, Portland and Dorchester area will be hosting an interactive workshop at Camp Bestival.
Members of Muntsy's, a day service for adults with learning disabilities, will use music and movement in the Strictly Fun workshop to harness people's imagination.
The workshop at the Lulworth Castle festival, which takes place from July 28 to 31, will involve exploring voices and bodies through dance, mime and song and will evolve to take participants on a journey to a surprise destination.
Festivalgoers will be invited to join in with a physical and vocal warm-up, exploring and encouraging awareness of our bodies and breathing. Song suggestions will then be used to experiment with mime and dance.
This will evolve to the point where we are ready for take off. At take off, there will be an array of exploding stars shooting out of the top of the space ship followed by the raising of the Camp Bestival flag. Participants will all come back down to Earth and celebrate in song.
