AN AWARD-WINNING comedian and musical maestro are bringing their show to Dorchester.

Tim FitzHigham and Duncan Walsh Atkins will bring Mud, Glorious Mud! to the county town's Corn Exchange on Saturday, July 9.

The duo's tribute to Michael Flanders and Donald Swann, who toured the world bringing laughter to millions in the 1950s and 1960s, will also include numbers such as The Gnu Song, Madeira M'dear and The Gasman Cometh.

Flanders and Swann were describes as masters of madness, mirth and total silliness and the evening is an affectionate tribute to their words and music.

Tim and Duncan have been performing on stage together since 2001 and have enjoyed 10 sell-out tours across the UK, seven successful Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and a highly acclaimed show in Australia as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

They aim to breathe new life into the much-loved words and music of Flanders and Swann for lifelong fans and the uninitiated alike.

The pair have been generously supported by the estates of Michael Flanders and Donald Swann.

The event start at 8pm with tickets and more information available from Dorchester Arts on 01305 266926 or at dorchesterarts.org.uk
