Upwey Open Gardens
VARIED and unusual gardens will be opened in Upwey on the weekend of Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10.
The village, near Weymouth, is hosting the open gardens event between 2pm and 6pm
Always a popular event, Upwey offers gardens from larger and grander houses to tiny cottages all within easy walking distance.
This year there is a wedding dress display (from 1910 onwards), pottery demonstration, willow making, crafts, fun for the children and of course delicious locally made teas.
Programmes are £4 each, children go free and there is ample parking provided.
