THE story of the Allied codebreakers is one of the most fascinating of the Second World War.
In an enlightening show on June 25 at Bridport Arts Centre, Dr Mark Baldwin will be discussing the work of the codebreakers and the famous Enigma machine.
The codebreakers cracked the Enigma code and allowed the Allies to gain invaluable information about military movements. Dr Baldwin has made a detailed study of the work at Bletchley Park.
This research forms the basis of his entertaining and instructive show and there will also be a hands-on demonstration of one of the very few surviving Enigma machines.
