A SERIES of music concerts are taking place this summer in the village of Dewlish, near Dorchester.
Dewlish Chapel and All Saints Church, will be hosting four exciting concerts beginning on Saturday June 25 and then running consecutively on each of the following three Saturday evenings.
The first event in the Dewlish Chapel is on Saturday 25 June at 7.30pm. It will feature violin and viola duets performed by Aidan Fisher on viola and Sally Flann on cello.
This will be a lively programme which will include music by Bach, Beethoven, Britten, Danzi and Telemann.
Aidan Fisher is a performer, composer, conductor and teacher. He has worked with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, appeared on BBC Radios 2 and 3 and is on several commercial recordings with Naxos.
Sally Flann performs extensively at home and abroad as a freelance musician, one of her memorable performances is playing solo Bach for the late King of Tonga at his personal request.
She has also appeared on live television and performed for Chancellor Kohl. Sally is a former Chetham’s scholar and Guildhall graduate. She is now settled in Dorset and gives regular concerts with the Dorchester Piano Trio.

Booking in advance is essential as places are limited. Admission is £8 per person for each concert.
