PART realism, part ridiculous and part darkly intimate experience – a new comedy duo and masters of cutting edge discomfort are bringing an hour of sketch comedy to Bridport.

Marina O’Shea – ‘the funny one’ and Tessa (O’) Gaukroger – ‘the tall one’ make up South West comedy duo O&O.

Their new show, The Good Stuff has received rave reviews and a host of industry nominations with their debut Edinburgh Fringe Festival show.

The Good Stuff zooms in on the little moments of life, and the hilarity hidden in the unnoticed characters we pass each day.

They provide a picture of a checkout girl that doesn’t understand how annoying it is to put change on top of the receipt, loved ones abducted by Netflix and the impending doom of rising London rents.

As if this wasn’t enough for one lightning fast hour led by a duo who almost definitely know each other too well, a vital ‘living’ prop has gone missing backstage.

Everything is almost certain to end in chaos.

Formed in 2011, the comedy duo have defined themselves as a witty twosome with a self-penned, interactive and distinctive style.

Organisers said to prepare to laugh with them, at them and long after they’re gone.

n The Good Stuff, coming to the Lyric Theatre in Bridport on Friday, June 10 at 8pm.
