NEVER mind raising the roof, you’ll be Up On The Roof at the Regent Centre in Christchurch when The Drifters take to the stage there on Saturday May 7.
Smash hits by The Drifters first charted way back in 1953 and although the group has had numerous line-up changes over the decades, they were always famous for their magnificent vocal harmonies, synchronised choreography, slick presentation and a host of fabulous songs.
Songs they will be singing include the classics Save The Last Dance For Me, Saturday Night At The Movies and Under The Boardwalk.
With over 65 members of The Drifters over 63 years since their inception, the legacy continues with the current line-up.
The show at the Regent features the only legitimate Drifters line up in the world.
