PLANS are being made to hold an exhibition on weddings in Upwey in July and your help is needed.
Sue Virgin from the Upwey and Broadwey History Collection has got in touch to ask Looking Back readers to contact her if they got married in St Laurence's Church.
She'd also be interested to hear from people from the village who got married elsewhere.
The exhibition will consist of pictures and descriptions of weddings over the years and can also display wedding dresses.
This photo shows Upwey bride Susan Way with her bridesmaids in 1968.
Sue said: "Everyone enjoys a wedding and many people enjoy looking back so we’re hoping to gather together photos and stories of village weddings over the years to display in St Laurence Church, Upwey, which is a lovely setting for the exhibition and will help to raise funds to improve facilities."
