DORSET artists are to exhibit works exploring relationships and form inspired by local landscape.
Painter Zara McQueen and ceramicist Ann Wilson have joined forces once again and have returned to the Shaftesbury Arts Centre Gallery.
Ceramic artist Graham Nolan is joining them in the exhibition.
Zara is a self-taught painter who lives and works in Shaftesbury. In April last year she was diagnosed with breast cancer and will be showing paintings, drawings and collages she has worked on over the months of her treatments and recovery.
Ann is interested in simplicity, form and process. Her work is smoke fired in a metal dustbin using a variety of combustible materials to create the unique unpredictable patterns that enhance the surface.
Ceramist Graham Nolan talks about his work as “... about relationships, the balance of space, volume, line and colour.
The exhibition will run from November 26 to December 8, 10am to 4pm at the Shaftesbury Arts Centre, Bell Street, Shaftesbury SP7 8AR.
