The Tank Museum, Bovington
THIS unique collection of more than 300 vehicles is regarded as the best in the world and is right here in Dorset.
The museum's collection includes the world's first ever tank - Little Willie, the feared German Tiger tank and the modern Challenger 2.
Follow the story of the tank, from its invention in 1915 through the 20th century and into the future.
There's a special weekend coming up, December 5 to 6 in which you can enjoy a Vintage Christmas of shopping, entertainment and see Father Christmas in a tank.
Learn more about what life was like at Christmas time from the 1920’s to the Post War era, with themed crafts and activities.
There will also be living history re-enactors around the museum to help take you back in time.
