STUNNING rock psychedelia will come to Weymouth Pavilion on Saturday August 8.

The Strange Doors, a tribute to the legendary American band The Doors, will thrill the audience with their note for note recreations of the band's unique rock music.

The Strange Doors have played all over the UK, including a headline slot at Festwich, the UK’s biggest free music festival and a mini tour of France as part of the celebration of the Doors’ late lead singer Jim Morrison’s 70th birthday celebration.

At a Strange Doors performance audiences will experience ad-libbed poetry, a singer that jumps into the air and writhes on the floor (whilst conjuring the Lizard King with his rich baritone voice), those crisp organ sounds of Ray Manzarek cutting through the air with beautiful precision, bluesy slide guitar and powerful, yet subtle drumming that punctuates the music and vocals.

With their authentic instruments and sets crafted through years of experience, The Strange Doors invite audiences to immerse themselves in the vibe, to move to the hypnotic beat and to allow the sound to help them break on through to the other side.

Their two hour show also includes a psychedelic projection show that visually enhances the atmosphere.

The show starts at 7.45pm. Contact Weymouth Pavilion for tickets.
