THE course of true love will not be running smoothly at an open air performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Outspoken Theatre Company are bringing the Shakespeare classic to All Saints Church, Wyke Regis, on Saturday August 8

The performance by the Suffolk theatre company is a first for All Saints Church.

Outspoken have been touring open-air Shakespeare around Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire for 15 years, building a reputation for fast-paced, approachable interpretations.

Among recent past productions have been The Tempest, Richard III, As You Like It, Antony and Cleopatra and The Comedy of Errors.

This is their first extension of the tour to Dorset and it coincides with them turning to one of Shakespeare’s most enduring comedies in a joyful romp guaranteed to give entertainment to all the family.

The action will take place in two areas so audience members will need to be able to move around a bit and be able to stand for part of the performance.

Tickets are £10 and you can bring a small folding chair or blanket to sit on.

Start time will be 6.30pm and the bar will be open from 6pm.

If the weather means that the play cannot be put on outdoors then it will take place in the church.

People are advised to book tickets early. Call Julia Moore on 01305 776138.
