BUDDING detectives can prepare for a mysterious afternoon on the Millennium Green this weekend.

Detective Sherlock Holmes has a mysterious new case to investigate when summoned to a nunnery deep in the English countryside. Holmes and his companion Dr Watson join the search for the most elusive piece of treasure known to mankind. With a missing novice, a death in the convent and some very suspicious nuns, Holmes’ newest case promises to be his most terrifying and challenging yet.

A murder mystery to be solved and a treasure to be found in this thrilling adaptation of The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes.

The entertainment is presented by Chapterhouse Theatre Company who is entering its 16th year of touring open-air theatre. The company has performed at some of the most beautiful country houses and castles and heritage sites across the UK and Ireland and they’ll be on stage at Bridport’s Millennium Green on Sunday (26) at 3pm.

This brand new production, adapted from Arthur Conan Doyle’s original stories, is the third Sherlock Holmes mystery that Chapterhouse Theatre Company have turned their hand to. They began by touring their adaption of The Hound of the Baskervilles in 2013 and the The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in 2014. Now in 2015, The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes is proving to be one of the

most anticipated shows of the summer.
