A GAVIN and Stacey star will be lighting up Weymouth Pavilion this week.

Johnny Tudor from BBC's Gavin and Stacey and Sky's Stella stars in Give Me the Moonlight - a celebration of the Life and Hits of Frankie Vaughan.

The show, on Wednesday (8) at 2.30pm, is brought to the Pavilion by Matthew Revell-Griffiths Productions.

Frankie, who died in 1999, was a singer of easy listening and traditional pop music, who issued more than 80 singles in his lifetime.

He was known as 'Mr. Moonlight' after one of his early hits Give Me The Moonlight.

The show features many of Frankie’s greatest hits including Green Door, Kisses Sweeter Than Wine, Hello Dolly, Mame, Garden of Eden, Tower of Strength, There Must Be A Way, Gotta Have Something in The Bank Frank, Cabaret, Loop De Loop, Man on Fire, The Heart of A Man.

This show pays tribute to the man who became one of the most successful performers that Britain has ever produced.

Frankie topped the bill at every major British Theatre.

The show also stars Olwen Rees from BBC's My Family plus Maria Holliday and Emma Lee Wagner.
