WEST Dorset's highest village is preparing for the Evershot Country Fair on Sunday, June 21.
The fair will feature live music from Bristol’s White City Shakers and Weymouth band, Van Rouge.
Attractions include the Purbeck gun dogs and Yetminster Irish Dancers, together with cars from yesteryear and tractor rides around the Melbury Estate and deer park.
Traditional favourites such as the coconut shy, donkey rides and hog roast sit alongside something a bit different; slacklining, a game provided by Dorset Youth to improve your balance and the Army Cadet mobile rock climbing wall.
Throughout the afternoon rural crafts are demonstrated and over eighty trade and craft stands to peruse.
There is something to amuse all ages at this family event.
The entrance fee is £2 for adults and children go free.
The fun begins at 11am. See evershot.org/ecf or email thefair@evershot.org for more information.
