ONE of the founding fathers of the new Neon Art movement is exhibiting his work in Dorset.
Essex born Rob Court - AKA Courty – is not your typical artist.
He worked up from industry level and has spent his lifetime working with creative people practising and perfecting the 100-year-old art of glass blowing neon tube lights.
Courty has spent more than three decades illuminating London including theatres, stages and film sets so you’ve more than likely seen his work before.
Westover Gallery in Bournemouth have been fortunate enough to acquire a rare Courty original from his ‘Abstract Thoughts’ collection called ‘Pink Outside The Box’.
This very special neon art sculpture can be viewed and enjoyed with a glass of bubbly now at the gallery in Westover Road.
