JOIN in a National Theatre Live screening of the Arthur Miller classic A View from the Bridge.
The dark and passionate tale will be screened at the Electric Palace in Bridport on Thursday March 26.
Starring Mark Strong, who appeared in The Imitation Game and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, the story is set in Brooklyn and follows longshoreman Eddie Carbone as he welcomes his Sicilian cousins to the land of freedom.
But when one of them falls for his beautiful niece, they discover that freedom comes at a price. Eddie’s jealous mistrust exposes a deep, unspeakable secret – one that drives him to commit the ultimate betrayal.
Ivo van Hove directs the production which is broadcast from London’s West End.
Doors will open at 6pm for the start at 7pm.
