MANY voices will be raised in song at the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s concert at the Lighthouse, Poole on December 23 from 7.30pm.
The traditional carol sing-along will feature treasured carols, such as O Come All Ye Faithful, Good King Wenceslas, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Unto Us is Born a Son, God Rest You Merry Gentlemen and Hark the Herald Angels Sing, as Frank Zielhorst, the new Leverhulme Young Conductor in Association with the Orchestra, takes up his baton to lead the massed choirs and orchestra.
The choir will also sing Christmas music by Rutter, Darke, Willcocks, and Berlioz, while the Orchestra will perform such festive favourites as Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival and Sleigh Ride.
